⭐️⭐️⭐️MEMBER SHOUTOUT!⭐️⭐️⭐️ Everyone, say Hi to Matt @kiwi_coaster! He’s a father of 4 (4, 6, 8 and10!😱), husband and runs his own business. Matt had never been to a gym before, he used to do a bit of mountain biking and played hockey, but found once he hit his 20’s the work force took over and sports/exercise took a backseat. For 20 years, he kept saying to himself, “I’m going to get abs…I’m going to abs”, but it never happened, until he made a decision. 🙌👍😉 Here is his story: 👉WHY?👈 With Matt starting his own business in 2013, he had the pressures of running that plus balancing his family as well, he was becoming more and more office bound and that’s when he started gaining more and more weight. After 2 years, he was fed up with the way that lifestyle had negatively impacted his body and health, so he decided to join a gym in 2015. He only did cardio for 6 months as that was all he knew at that stage and then got some guidance from a Personal Trainer and started integrating some weight training. 👉COMPETING👈 Matt’s wife competed in a bodybuilding competition and seeing the journey and results that she went through inspired him to give it a go himself. He entered his first competition, INBA in May 2017 and got 2nd in Novice Tall Bodybuilding. This qualified him for his upcoming PNBA Universe competition at Sky City on September 30th. 👉MOTIVATION?👈 What motivates Matt is having a goal or date to aim for. He also keeps a "before" picture of himself to remind him of where he never wants to be again. 👉HOW?👈 Being a father of 4, a husband and a business owner, how do you make the gym/exercise a part of your lifestyle? “You have to have self-discipline, no one is going to make you go to the gym, and no one is going to stop you cheating on your nutrition. You have to make the decision for yourself. Just do it. Actually scheduling it in my diary as a meeting so it gets done. The best tool is goal setting, set short term and long term goals. Set goals that scare you or that people might laugh at, those are real goals. There is no substitute for hard work.” STORY CONTINUED ON NEXT COMMENT...
